lazy-boy

so its march. day one of my ever disengaging bouts of astronomical apathy towards corporate pilipinas (not so) . and if i ever plan to make myself rich, i would have rather stolen money from strangers sleeping in bus seats.

but you gotta. and it sucks big time that you would have to drag yourself to work on the very first day you start with it. drag. i beg for an epiphany before 1930 eastern standard time.

meeting with the matchsticks

i had a great time last night with some of the matchsticks. a whale of time actually.
  1. spent the night arguing about work, and not having one. we are a majority of freelance writers, which is a synonym for 'excuse', who debated about money, conflict, respect and catch 22 over iced tea that was too sweet and chicken parts coated with crusty carbs.
  2. we meditated on life and what mud hole our feet are currently buried into. most of the time, our ideals of self does not really equate with what we have become and what others think we should become.
  3. we went to starlight to baptize the karaoke bar with our own symphony of booze powered voices. somehow, it was so hard to please the stupid karaoke that we have feigned ecstasy at the score of anything greater than zero.
  4. lastly, we visited my last company to remind the trainers that they should stop sucking other people's balls and start counting whatever is left of their hair and their conscience.
so much fun, so little time.

freelance

so far...
i have been asked by at least ten people where my fall back is. or whatever plan i have to regain the employed status. it's funny that the world has denied you a plain answer to these questions.

i have recently quit my job as a rep in a call center i have worked for for a year. being able to be employed in a single company in a year is novel to me so please grant me this spotlight. the working and personal relationships i have made during the stay was extremely wonderful. you don''t get to meet those kind of people in a lifetime. but why leave?

i am tired. i simply am. i would love to go specifics but i do not want to put too many bitter complications in this blog than there already is. (what a floozy)
and the fall back?

nothing. under the guise of freelance writing. haha. but i am writing. hope it turns out well.

office pests 101

i had the most interesting micro-revenge today.

but my day has been generally benevolent. the fellowship came by to get a couple of large fries and offered a super-missed conversation in return. the best of gifts just keep coming. the office set-up is becoming a little too tough for me to chew what with the paperless desk commandments from our general manager with big-and-small balls (literal-and-figurative). he saw my bag underneath my desk and announced his disliking of a backpack positioned there. my bag is of better value than his hide.

i sat at the moronic eukaryote's desk earlier and threw away everything i could grab my hands on. as i mentioned, micro-revenge.

after work, a friend and i repaired to aling cadiang's and ate gizzard and lugaw then headed to gonuts donuts to celebrate what's left of our money and my friend's coming birthday. i shared my thoughts about the micro-revenge and finally convinced her it was all for the love of common sense.

to kill a birthday boy

12.23 pm pc time, a day after becoming 23.

i have had an uneventful day of my life apart from spending fighting time with a constant sparring partner. then off to slavework.

before dawn. ate slabs of pizza with my tl and a colleague and fought over tap water or bottled water and who pays the cab. having an insane conversation is the best gift a man could have. summarized work in a few discussions and ended up making plans to make mafia wars as a blueprint to economic success. we had quite a time cussing over corporate nincumpoops and faulty systems, in every sense of the words. eastwood city is an intelligent community. full of interesting people at night. we saw william martinez in all black looking like a fastfood crew junkie.

in between conversations were the regular surprises that includes a daydream of killing another colleague or let's call him moronic eukaryote for the meantime for lack of a better insult. if ever the plus sign springs out of the arithmetic, i shall make sure that he never see his right angles ever again. i apologize my dear blank space that i cannot talk much. i am sworn by oath and shampoo.

cab ride home. i didn't know jeepneys in aurora were so much interesting. i was able to witness a full hello kitty makeover on a jeepney - pink and bombarded by mouthless kittens with pink ribbons in it's cranium. sanrio rules the road. another jeepney had 2 faces - maybe a couple - painted in the driver's side. i looked at the driver but did not find a match. and what good does a jeepney do without love quotes. a whole paragraph of them painted on the side. whadapak.

the best sign of all - a hardware store in p.tuazon.

SCREW IT!

in lieu of the holidays, i hurl

im back. and so is my daily visitor. 2.52 pm pc time and my eyelids are almost about to shut tight. nothing new in the office today. just a friend/teammate having boyfriend paranoia dramas - the bf is the paranoid one. what if a woman cheats and regrets it? did everything to assure the guy that it will never happen again and is very much sincere about it. but the guy is still having doubts. does time answer the question? or is it distance? i think it just needs a meaningful conversation.

another thing with this coworker of mine is that today, june 12: philipine independence day, is the anniversary of the death of her child. at 17 she bore a little angel who died after 12 days on earth. so i proposed us to go to manila bay and make paper boats and drift them with wishes. yeah i'm a sucker for drama go make your own blog if you think you're too bad ass. too bad this friend of mine had alcohol in her plans so we repaired to seafood island in cubao to smother ourselves with food and alcohol and friendship.

another friend came along right after i ordered tanigue, a bucket of beer, and a pinacolada(mine). i had never tasted a pinacolada so i got to try it and man it sucks bigtime. i hate the goo and i reinstate my love for vodka ice. the kilawing tanigue was good but i prefer the one served at seaside market in baclaran. there was a complimentary squid sisig that came along with the beer and it was repulsive yet tolerable. my idea of tolerable is anything un-patola. we ordered another plate of tokwa't baboy. the tokwa was good but there was just too much soysauce in it i thought i was eating adobo. my favorite meal in seafood island so far is the bangus and ensaladang talong value meal.

we continued to gorge down to the last morsel while drinking and laughing and making death wishes for one particular person.

there. after a bottle of beer and half a glass of the pinacolada, i tipsy toed myself home. bummer. who at this age and stature gets tipsy with a bottle of beer? sigh. burp. hurl. zzzz.

balls, bailout and boats

i am so happy to having been able to escape my mind off vampire wars and take the time to add another post to this pointless thread. 1.34 pm pc time. the flood is 7 inches deep in my room, the 3rd day the water had fully invaded my privacy. i type lying in my raised bed keying my raised board and squinting my eyes on my raised monitor. 7 inches in my room would equate to 2 feet of water in the living room which is lower than my sanctuary ( which is no longer a necessary term).

omg. there is a boat in the street.

i havent slept decently for days now. im being obligated to think but my mind is in meltdown. total absence of synapse. i hate thinking about the need to think. i am about to face my demons later - which is my salary. hopefully i can send someone to college and rent a house then have my old phone fixed with this period. i imagine long days of fasting and an ability to be an electron to my protonic colleagues with pack lunches. sigh. there goes my dignity.

i have had a hell of time at work last night. i had been enslaved to take calls for another account. the queue had been spiking highs and lows and i was beginning to wonder if this night was karma for my being rude to the idiot who freaked out when i said the word 'smart-ass.' then, as if by divine providence, avail. super avail. i was so bored that i had to think of something to do. i was able to clean the whole station, cut papers for the manual calls, spit n' shine and declog my keyboard, and make a sign for people not to steal my mouseball.

- - -

i dont know what's wrong with people but why in the name of a politician's buns do you steal a mouseball? do their kids play jolen with it? i can understand the stolen headset stickers but mouseballs? if i see someone take my balls i shall grab them in the nostrils and shove the rubbery balls up their brains. bet on it?
